Years ago, while helping an international student navigate their first U.S. tax return at the University of Mississippi, I discovered my passion for empowering others through life-changing support.  Today, as an immigration attorney in Birmingham, Alabama,  I’m dedicated to helping survivors of violence and victims of crimes find safety and opportunity through immigration solutions like VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) petitions and U-visas.  

With Bachelor and Master of Accountancy degrees from Ole Miss and a law degree from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, I bring a unique blend of precision and empathy to my practice.  Since earning my Alabama State Bar license in 2005 and joining the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) in 2014, I’ve focused on advocating for those who need it most—survivors of domestic violence, crime victims, and intending immigrants across the U.S. and beyond.  While I handle a range of immigration matters, my heart lies in securing protections and pathways for those escaping hardship.  

Proficient in French, Spanish, and Portuguese, I connect with clients from diverse backgrounds, offering clarity and hope in complex legal processes.  As an active member of St. Symeon Orthodox Church, my work is grounded in compassion and a commitment to justice.  Every client’s story matters to me, and I’m here to listen, strategize, and fight for their future.
